In the buildup to International Women's Day, New Vision is sharing stories of different women telling us their struggles and how they have turned their life around.
In part 3 of our Women's Day Special, we celebrate Gillian Josephine p'Ocen.
She quit her job to start selling fruit salad and 'pancakes' (kabalagala) in offices in Gulu town. From this, she has established a crafts shop and a tour and travel company that is helping to market Gulu district and promote the Acholi culture.
