Hundreds mourn legendary engineer Dr. Kiggundu

Among those who paid tribute to Kiggundu was the Vice-Chancellor of Ndejje University, Prof. Eriabu Lugujo, who described him as a brilliant engineering don, who left a legacy of topnotch professionalism.

TRIBUTE 

KAMPALA - Mourners including members of the engineering fraternity, government officials, family, and friends have paid tributes to Dr . Samuel Eridadi Kiggundu, the former Dean of the Faculty of Technology at Makerere University. He died on March 2 at the age of 75.

Kiggundu's eulogies were delivered during the funeral service at his home, in Kyambogo, on Wednesday.

 
Among those who paid tribute to Kiggundu was the Minister of Works and Transport Katumba Wamala and Vice-Chancellor of Ndejje University, Prof. Eriabu Lugujo, who described him as a brilliant engineering don, who left a legacy of topnotch professionalism, honesty and patriotism at Makerere.

Kiggundu will be buried today at Kiwumu, near Buloba on Mityana Road.

The requiem service at the wake was presided over by Canon Monica Ssebidega. She was assisted by Rev. Paul Kakooza and Rev. Canon Kaleebi.
