"I have seen bananas, mango trees, avocadoes among others. They have also trained us on the various agricultural practices. I am going to inform my parents on the value of agriculture and will also start a smalll garden," Kamoga said.

Precious Ninsiima, a Primary Seven pupil says from the expo, she has learnt that agriculture can been practiced even on a small piece of land.

"I am going to encourage my parents to utilize the spaces around our house to grow vegetables. Even at school, I am going to perform well since I have seen most of the crops we used to learn about," said Ninsima.

Tabitha Mukisa, another pupil said from the expo, she has learnt about different animals and birds. He has also learnt about the various challenges faced by farmers.

"I have also learnt how to propagate the crops. I am going to take this knowledge back to school and also encourage my parents to engage in agriculture. I have learnt that farming only require skills and quality seed," he said.

Florence Mukiibi, a teacher, said they encourage children to come for the expo because it is important for children to get practical skills right from childhood.

She emphasized that the curriculum is majorly centered around theories hence the expo gives the pupils the practical bit.

"The expo consolidates what the pupils are learning in social studies and science. The learning experience here has become more meaningful than when they study in classes," Mukiibi said.
