R EQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EoI) FOR PARTNERSHIP WITH NORWEGIAN REFUGEE COUNCIL (NRC)

Background:

NRC was established in Uganda in 1997. NRC programme in Uganda targets the most vulnerable refugees and host communities with timely and innovative responses to achieve durable solutions. NRC has presence in most refugee settlements and urban setting intervening through a multi-sector response in Protection, Education, Livelihood & Food Security, Shelter and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion (WASH) as well as Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA).

NRC wishes to engage in partnerships to strengthen the impact of our programming as well as enhance both local capacity and our own, and offer options for broader integrated responses and sustainable protection approaches. We aim to achieve greater equality between our local partners in terms of responsibility for joint programme design, implementation and monitoring.

We believe that working with the right partners can contribute to achieving durable solutions, and to prepare our eventual exit from an operation.
