The equipment, received by Dr. Martin Opumar, was bought using proceeds from the Aviation Run, which took place in November last year.

The run was in celebration of the International Civil Aviation Organisation's 75th anniversary.

It was organized by the Uganda Aeronautical Information Service Officers' Association in conjunction with UCAA.

The emergency care equipment handed to the Entebbe facility included two oxygen concentrators, two patient monitors, one refrigerator, two patient mattresses and associated sundries.
