🎄 Christmas is around the corner . . .

On Wednesday, President Yoweri Museveni received a special message from President Xi Jinping of China.

The message was delivered by Yang Jiechi, President Xi's Special Representative, at State House, Entebbe.

According to a story running on the State House website, upon receiving the message, President Museveni 'saluted the support the Chinese people have rendered to the African continent since the period of the Chinese Revolution that brought African leaders like Julius Nyerere and China, closer'.

"In recent times, China has offered more socio-economic support by bringing Chinese companies to invest for Africa development," the President is quoted as saying.
