aBi, Vision Group partner to promote agribusiness

This is the second time aBi is partnering with Vision Group to promote agriculture through the Harvest Money platform.

Agricultural Business Initiative (aBi) has entered into a sh98m partnership with Vision Group to promote agriculture and participate in the 2020 Harvest Money Expo.

This is the second time aBi is partnering with Vision Group to promote agriculture through the Harvest Money platform.

On Tuesday the two parties signed the partnership agreement making aBi the first organization to come on board ahead of the 2020 Harvest Money Expo. 

The 2020 Harvest Money Expo will be held at Mandela National Stadium, Nambole from February 14 to 16.

 

During the agreement signing ceremony, that was held at Vision Group headquarters, aBi and Vision Group were represented by there Chief Executive Officers Josephine Mukumbya, and Robert Kabushenga.

"We are happy to be associated with the New Vision now for the second year running. We were impressed by what we able to cover in the first partnership," Mukumbya said.

She revealed that the partnership is aimed at promoting the agriculture sector as a source of income and economic growth through advocacy, exposure, training and exhibition knowledge sharing.

 

Kabushenga hailed the partnership which will promote agriculture, help farmers get exposed to better farming practices and be inspired by stories that will be published.


"We are really grateful for coming on board. And you being the first partners we are announcing the Harvest money expo is on," Kabushenga said.

Under the partnership, Vision Group will run a series of stories of successful farmers supported by aBi.
