Notice from Rural Electrification Agency (REA)

Specific procurement notice

  1. The Government of Uganda (GoU) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank towards the cost of Uganda Energy for Rural Transformation Phase III (ERT III), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the contract for procurement of Plant, Design, Supply, And Installation Of Works For The Construction Of The 11/33kV Medium Voltage Power Lines And Associated LV Networks for the ERT III grid extension projects under Package C structured in two lots; LOT 1C: Line 14: Mubende - Kyabayanga - Ngangi with tee-off Kahirimbara, Kibaale - Kikwaya and Karuguza SS, Kibonge, Buronzi, Katete, Nyamarunda, Kitoro and Kabale Pri Sch (130.7 km) LOT 2C: Line 15: Kiyagara-Bwizi-Biguri-Ntonwa-Kyakaitaba-Bwensamba (95.8 km).
  2. The Rural Electrification Agency (REA) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders that meet the qualification criteria in section III of the bidding document, for Plant, Design, Supply, And Installation Of Works For The Construction Of The 33kv Medium Voltage Power Lines And Associated LV Networks For the ERT III grid extension projects under Package B. "Bidders may bid for one or several lots, as further defined in the bidding document. 
  3. The Time for Completion of the whole of the Facilities shall be 24 calendar months from the Effective Date as described in the Contract Agreement. This is applicable to both lots

  2. The Rural Electrification Agency (REA) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Plant, Design, Supply, And Installation of Works For The Construction Of The 33kV Medium Voltage Power Lines And Associated LV Networks For the ERT III grid extension projects under Package E "Bidders may bid for one or several lots, as further defined in the bidding document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid." 
  3. The Time for Completion of the whole of the Facilities shall be 24 calendar months from the Effective Date as described in the Contract Agreement. This is applicable to both Lots
