The alumnae declared their continued support to the school at the old girl’s dinner held in Kampala.

The alumni of Nabisunsa Girls School have reaffirmed their commitment to support the school in sustaining its performance. The school boosts of  a number of high profile personalities in the country.

They include the government chief whip, Ruth Nankabirwa, the minister of health, Dr. Ruth Aceng, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) boss, Doris Akol, former minister of finance, Hajat Syda Bbumba, former minister Rukiah Nakadama, among others.

The alumnae declared their continued support to the school at the old girl’s dinner held in Kampala.

The school was founded in 1954 by Prince Badru Kakungulu, a Buganda Royal to offer post-primary education to the Muslim girl-child. However, today, the school admits girls of all faiths.

According to the school head teacher, Zulaika Nabukeera, they have continued to carry on with their values of dignity, being composed, focused and disciplined.

Zulaika over ruled claims that the school’s academic performance had declined insisting that last year, the school was among the best performing schools in the national exams both at  O’ and A’ levels.
