Heathens unveil squad for the 2019/2020 season

Coach Muhamad Athio said that the new recruits will help his side achieve their target of defending the league and winning the Uganda Cup that started on Saturday.

 
Hima cement Rugby club has unveiled its 2019/2020 season squad together with a new Hima Cement kit worth sh40m.
 
The squad included Aaron Ofoyrwoth and Scott Olwoch who were signed from Kenya Harlequins, Jamil Nyango, signed from Rhinos, Musasizi Boaz from Toyota Buffaloes, Joseph Oyet from Dusupay Warriors, and Innocent Gwokto Thomas and Victor Wangobo.
 
Coach Muhamad Athio said that the new recruits will help his side achieve their target of defending the league and winning the Uganda Cup that started on Saturday.
 
"We have got experienced players and youngsters. I am optimistic they will add value to our team so that we meet our target," Athio said.
 
Christine Kyokunda, the Hima Cement marketing officer promised her companies continued support to Heathens.
 
"We have built a relationship with Heathens that is hard to break and as a company supporting sports, we are committed to continuing partnering with Heathens," Kyokunda said.
 
Hima Cement injects sh90m into Heathens annually of which sh50m is cash and 40m is for the kit which includes the home and away jersey, boots, track-suits, changing T-shirts, training kit and a kit bag for each player.
