The Bamasaaba cultural institution leader (Umukukha) Bob Mushikori has no official vehicle after the one he was using broke down three weeks ago.

The vehicle broke down in Namutumba on it's way to Entebbe Airport to pick him as he returned from America on an official government-sponsored trip where he had gone to check on the Bamasaaba in the diaspora.

Bamasaaba cultural institution minister in charge of protocol Mathias Nabutere, who was part of the team travelling to pick him, said as they approached Namutumba, they heard a loud bang and the car swerved off the road into a trench.

He added that the car is currently grounded at Namutumba district central police station with deflated tyres and damaged engine.

He further says since Mushikori's return, he has been using hired vehicles to take him to the palace.
