On Friday, President Yoweri Museveni returned home after the first Russia-Africa Summit aimed at strengthening and expanding Russia's relations with Africa in areas of political, social and economic matters.

The two-day Russia-Africa Summit was under theme ‘Uncovering the Potential for Cooperation" and was attended by all 54 African heads of state and representative.

 
At the arrival Entebbe International Airport, Museveni was welcomed by Minister for Presidency Esther Mbayo.

Others included John Mitala, Head of Public Service, Maj. Gen. Charles Lwanga Lutaay the Commander of Air Forces, Andrew Sorowen Assistant Inspector General of Police, Samuel Akena, Director of Correctional Services in the Uganda Prisons Services.
