REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO CONDUCT RESEARCH ON RETAIL PAYMENTS ECOSYSTEM IN UGANDA

  1. Financial Sector Deepening (FSD) Uganda is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee and working to promote fi nancial inclusion in Uganda. FSD Uganda seeks to develop a more inclusive financial sector with a focus on low-income individuals (particularly women) and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). FSD Uganda supports innovation, conducts research, helps promote and improve policy, laws and regulation that shape the financial sector in Uganda. FSD Uganda is currently funded by the United Kingdom's Department for International Development (DFID) and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. 
  2. FSD Uganda has commissioned research on merchant payments ecosystem in Uganda. The research seeks to deepen understanding of merchant payment landscape in Uganda and also identify and recommend feasible interventions. 
  3. FSD Uganda invites eligible consulting firms and individual consultants to submit sealed proposals for conducting research on Retail payments ecosystem in Uganda.

  2. FSD Uganda has allocated funds to conduct a country-level, context-specific assessment to examine the financial inclusion of women and is geared toward promoting of an inclusive financial sector for sustainable development in Uganda 
  3. FSD Uganda invites eligible consulting fi rms and individual consultants to submit sealed proposals for conducting a gender landscaping study.
