Despite the victory, Proline remained bottom with no point after they have docked nine points by the FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel following their failure to honour their tie against SC Villa.

So before they played today's game they had a deficit of three points which they have covered.

For Express who are 13th with four points from six games continued to struggle after they lost a big number of their players last season.

Elsewhere, Robert Mukogotya scored a brace as BUL defeated Maroons 2-0 at FUFA Technical Centre to move top of the league standings with 12 points.

At Wankulukuku, Bright Stars played to a goalless draw with URA while Ben Ocen was on target as Kyetume went down 1-0 to Police at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

The league will resume with several games on card Wednesday.
