Two gunned down on Entebbe Expressway

The Police are investigating the killing of a woman believed to be of Rwandan origin and her driver, who were shot dead on Entebbe Expressway on Thursday night.

The two victims have been identified as Florence Maya Kamikazi and Joshua Ruhegyera Nteyireho.

They were travelling in a Toyota Prado Reg. No. UAW 534B towards Mpala and were gunned down at Nambigirwa bridge.

According to the Police, at on Thursday at about 11:00pm, Entebbe Police Commander SP Baker Kawonawo received information about the shooting at Nambigirwa Bridge on Entebbe Expressway in Katabi Town Council, Wakiso District.

At the scene, there was a gun, with 27 bullets, three empty cartridges, a national ID belonging to Nteyireho Ruhegyera Joshua.

Two bodies were removed from the scene and taken to Mulago Hospital for post mortem
