Busoga United desperate for win against KCCA

Uganda Premier League: Busoga United v KCCA FC 

Following their 2-1 loss at Tooro United on the opening fixture of the Uganda Premier League, Busoga United head coach Abbey Kikomeko has said his wounded side will be desperate pick up its first league points on Tuesday when they entertain league champions KCCA at Njeru.

"We lost to Tooro United and have a task of bouncing back against KCCA. We know that they are the league champions, but we do not fear whoever we shall come across. We are in a desperate situation to get three points," said Kikomeko.

Despite the departure of several pivotal players like Faisal Muwawu, Fred Amaku, and Godfrey Akol, the arrival of talented youngsters like Ivan Wani, Ibrahim Mugulusi and the experience of left-back Hakim Magombe will complement the club's top scorer last season, Joel Madondo.

Zirintuusa signs

They have however received a boost in the shape of playmaker Boban Zirintuusa who inspired Vipers FC to their 2010 league win.

However, though the home side will have to contend with history being against them lost four and drawn six of their last six league matches against KCCA FC who will certainly unleash the in-form Allan Okello.
