Kagoro attains Junior Africa Golf Challenge Champion title

She consequently earned herself the title of Junior Africa Challenge Champion awarded to the best girl and boy in each age group.

Uganda's youngster Keisha Kagoro returned 298 gross over 54 holes to win her category in the 2019 SA Kids Junior African Challenge at the San Lameer Country Club on Thursday.
 
She consequently earned herself the title of Junior Africa Challenge Champion awarded to the best girl and boy in each age group.
 
Her win also earned her entry into the 2019 World Junior Championships in Malaysia later this year.
 
The ten-year-old performance was an improvement on her third-place finish she achieved at the championship when she was nine last year.
 
After finishing third in South Africa last year, Keisha earned entry into the World Junior Championships in Malaysia in December 2018 where she emerged 14th in her category off a field of 108 female juniors across the globe.
 
Keisha started her golf career in 2014 and has since then fast established her place today as the country's best young female golfer after participating in various local, regional and international golfing events.
 
The South African event attracted the top children golfers from 52 countries, in the boys U-6 to the Boys U-18 and Girls U-7 to the Girls U-18. It is also a qualifier to the IMG Junior World Championships, FCG Callaway World Championships, and Australian Junior Age Division Golf Championships.
 
The SA Kids Junior African Challenge is a premium international golfing event presented by the U.S. Kids Golf Tournament Players Association. The Junior Africa Challenge (JAC) 2019 was an individual stroke play competition for 4 days, with the title of Junior Africa Challenge Champion awarded to the best girl and boy in each age group.
