Proline was expected to take the game to the hosts following their successful away draw in Malawi in the CAF Confederation against Masters Security Services.

However, they were outplayed by the hosts and moments in the game, it evidenced that Matia Lule needs more work to do before his side take on Mbarara City in the league opener.

Triumphant Mike Mutebi applauded his side for the victory, saying it will give them confidence as they launch their title defence against Wakiso Giants on Saturday.

"The victory was good.  It gives my boys confidence as we start the new season. We want to defend our title," Mutebi said.
