The plan was unveiled during an interaction involving club officials, fans' leaders and season ticket holders at Lugogo over the weekend.

"The future will see fans having ownership of the football club if they are able to bring needed value on the table," stated club chairman Aggrey Ashaba.

The Lugogo club, entirely owned by Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) since it's inception, has grown into a brand and having fans own shares, will improve its growth.

At the same engagement, Ashaba talked about the club's amateur state in the past adding that this was the way of life and execution of duties.
The official went on to say that there is a need for change to move with the times.

Going forward, there is also a plan to make the club the best on and off the pitch, add to their trophy collection, increase revenue generation, attract more quality players
and boost other areas of human resource.

Other plans are to run the club on principles of a corporate entity and create a situation where the club is self-sustaining.

At the same time, the club management will start a KCCA FC leadership Academy to groom and nurture future leaders.

Financial growth and sustainability, facilities and infrastructure development are other areas that will be given priority.

Emphasising the need for more interactions in future, Ashaba added: "This is one of the ways we can measure our growth and also check ourselves as a club.

"Engagements like these are key in the growth of any institution and we shall have them on an annual basis," added Ashaba.

During the function, the club also released the revenue breakdown through its sponsors, sale of merchandise and players and stadium hire.
