Police officer dies in an accident

ACCIDENT 

WAKISO - A police constable at Kitintale Police Station identifies as Steven Kayiiza died in an accident as he was heading to his home in Ssanga near Matugga in Wakiso district.

The accident happened on Sunday morning when Kayiiza's motorcycle number UEF 313R  was hit by a commuter taxi. He died on spot.

Attributing the incident to speeding, the Kampala Metropolitan  Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire said they are searching for the driver of the taxi who fled from the scene of the accident.
