INVITATION TO BID FOR CONSULTANCY TO CONDUCT A BASELINE SURVEY FOR THE GIZ PREEEP MODULE 2019 - 2023
In joint cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation through Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is implementing the Promotion of Renewable Energy and Energy Effi ciency Programme (PREEEP). The main objective of the programme is to improve the framework conditions for access to clean energy in rural and peri-urban areas.
The new module will focus on four major areas namely; Policy, Market development in the Renewable Energy and Energy Effi ciency subsectors, skills development and mainstreaming energy at district level. In this regard, PREEEP therefore seeks to hire a consultancy fi rm with in the East African region (with presence in Uganda) with extensive experience to conduct a baseline survey as the new module kicks off.
