Maj. Gen. Lokech's journey to the top

Brig. Peter Omolla was appointed Commandant of the Uganda Rapid Deployment Capability Centre, according to a statement released by the UPDF.

Major General Paul Lokech has been appointed the Airforce's Chief of Staff in the new changes announced this evening.

Other appointments made by the Commander-in-Chief, President Yoweri Museveni, include Brig. Bob Ogik, who is now the Deputy Commandant at the Senior Command and Staff College (USCSC) - Kimaka; Brig. Winston Byaruhanga was named the Commandant at the Junior Staff College- Jinja and Brig. Peter Omolla was appointed Commandant of the Uganda Rapid Deployment Capability Centre, according to a statement released by the UPDF.

The statement added that the UPDF fraternity congratulates the officers upon their elevation to higher positions of responsibility.
