Wakiso Giants debuts season tickets

Its becomes only the second top flight team to come up with such an arrangement ahead of the new season

New league entrants Wakiso Giants have introduced season tickets ahead of the 2019/20 season.

The first ticket (ordinary) will go for sh100,000 and will come with a club jersey while a silver ticket will cost sh200,000 and this will come with a jersey, drink and allow the holder to sit in the covered stands.

A gold ticket will be sold at sh500,000 and a holder will get a jersey, drink and snacks, VIP parking and a seat in the covered stands.

They join KCCA FC who also came up with such an arrangement ahead of the new season.

Wakiso Giants who gained promoted to the top flight at their attempt seem to be on the right track as regards their preparations for the new season.

They recently signed goalkeeper Derrick Emukule from Ndejje University and also renewed contracts of some of their players

Emukule's arrival came shortly after Wakiso Giants appointed Kefa Kisaala as their new coach on a two-year deal and will be deputised by James Odoch.

In a related development, midfielder Ivan 'Kaloolo' Kiweewa was voted by players and coaches as the MVP of the club following his brilliant performance last season.

Kiweewa who finished as the club's top scorer with six goals and several assists was awarded at a function held at Grand Imperial Hotel.

He walked home with 55-inch television set while defender Hassan Wasswa Dazo who came second received a 42-inch television set.

Goalkeeper Ivan Mutumba who came third got sh500,000.
