Sunday: Uganda v Egypt

Cranes striker Patrick Kaddu has attributed Uganda Cranes' 2-0 victory over DR Congo on Saturday to teamwork.

"We worked as a team to achieve this win after 41 years that Uganda had taken without winning in AFCON. We also followed what the technical team told us to do. The support from our fans both at home and those in Egypt also gave us the confidence," noted Kaddu.

Kaddu who scored Cranes first goal in this year's edition before Emmanuel Okwi doubled the lead, believes the team is still focused.

"We need to build on this as we prepare to take on our next opponent. Our target is to make sure we go past the group stages. We are ready to move on with the performance," added the KCCA FC striker.

Cranes are currently top of Group A with three points just like hosts Egypt and face Zimbabwe on Wednesday. Zimbabwe went down 1-0 to Egypt in the tournament's opening game on Friday.
