Tough test for driver Rajiv Ruparelia

Ruparelia will have his driving skills put to test, and to prove that he did not fluke the second position during the Autocross championship in Sisa, Wakiso district last month.

KAMPALA - Rajiv Ruparelia will have to beat former national rally champion Arthur Blick Jr, Ponsiano Lwakataka and Jonas Kansiime to win the FMU Forest Park Sprint on Sunday.

This is the first sprint on the national championship calendar.

Ruparelia will have his driving skills put to test, and to prove that he did not fluke the second position during the Autocross championship in Sisa, Wakiso district last month.

The 1.7 Km double circuit track will have two cars start at once.

According to the clerk of the course Charles Ssemengo, it is going to be a tight race that calls for skills for one to emerge victoriously.

"This is a tight track and the drivers with skills are likely to win it. I know Rajiv has undergone training in South Africa but the track is challenging and will need some experience to manage the slippery terrain caused by the rains," Ssemengo said.

Rajiv navigated by Ronnie Wallia in Volkswagen Proto is the man fans are waiting to see how he performs on the tight and slippery track in Buloba in his second event of the year.
