Kampala night run excites revelers

After the maiden Kampala night run last year which hit Kampala party people by surprise due to its uniqueness, the second edition which was the Neon edition was organized.

The race at Torino bar in Kololo started off at 7:00pm with a warm-up session by the sheebaholics dancers who got the runners ready for the race.

A few minutes after 8:00 pm, the race kicked off. From Torino bar, via Multichoice in Kololo, DHL offices and back to  Torino bar. The winner, Elisha Mugabi, took home a gift hamper from Tusker Lite.

 Hit nature entertaining the crowd

Unlike last year, this time around the turn up was overwhelming. The venue could barely contain the fired up revelers. Among other winners was the best night run couple, best stylish runner, best running gear and coolest runner.

After the race, the real party of the night began and without wasting any time, MC Kats who was the MC of the night hit the stage and called out the first performers of the night, Hit Nature, who performed their hit song, Twazikoze. Other performers included Pallaso, Winnie Nwagi and Irene Ntale.
