Cranes set for COSAFA CUP

The technical team started work today morning with a training session at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.

 
Police FC coach Abdullah Mubiru will be in charge of the Uganda Cranes team that will take part in the COSAFA Cup in South Africa.
 
Mubiru will be assisted by Morley Byekwaso and Sadiq Wassa as the assistant and goalkeeping coach respectively while Geoffrey Massa will be the team coordinator.
 
The technical team started work today morning with a training session at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.
 
With the exceptional of KCCA players and their coach Byekwaso who were at the club trophy parade, the rest of other players summoned attended the training session. Thereafter the team entered their residential camp at Sky Hotel in Naalya.
 
Uganda who will be making their debut as a guest team in COSAFA will enter the competition at the quarterfinal stage on June 1.
 
COSAFA is an annual tournament for teams from Southern Africa organized by the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA).
