St. Lawrence pile pressure on MUBS with 13-2 win over Talented

St. Lawrence moved to second place in the National Beach Soccer League after beating Talented 13-2 and bottom side Entebbe Sharks 4-3 over the weekend at Lido beach, Entebbe to move to 27 points, one below table leaders MUBS who were not in action.
 
Sulaiman Ochero and Raymond Mulungi were among the top performers as St. Lawrence continued to pile more pressure on MUBS. MUBS who didn’t make it to the playoffs last season won the league in 2017, 2015 and 2012
 
Elsewhere, defending champions Isabeti managed to pick up one point from the two games they played after playing to a 5-5 draw with MS Sand Lions, before going down 4-2 to Nkumba.
 
Isabeti beat KIU 8-3 in the final to walk away with the men’s title last season while Muteesa 1 Royal University were declared the champions in the women league after topping the table with 30 points.
