Pre-Qualification for Engineering Design and Construction Services

Uganda Sanitation for Health Activity Project funded by USAID. The project works to increase household access to sanitation and water services and improve health through hygiene behavior change campaigns in homes, schools and health facilities in up to 25 districts in Uganda.

Tetra Tech ARD Inc. will implement this activity using prequalified Uganda-national design and consulting engineers and contractors. The required area of competence for engineering firms is civil engineering, minor structures and sanitation systems planning and design. Construction firms must demonstrate financial resources and a minimum of 5 years' experience with construction of these facilities.

The purpose of this prequalification process is to ensure that only competent firms are included in the process and to streamline subcontracting procedures to the maximum extent practical. The areas of activities are;
