I feel we need to recruit more new players and give them free scholarships.

Finals for U12 ;  Alaska 1 Super bullets 1

Despite winning both the 'Under 14 and 17 finals' of the, “Go Back to School,” football tournament in Mbale, Alaska football academy head, coach Boban Tamale, has called on his recruitment team to look for more academy players in the region.

Goals from Peter Madulu and Hakim Kibirige gave Alaska's Under 17 triumph 2-0 against Mbale's Super Bullets while in the Under 14s Yusuf Bogere and Ivan Menya netted for the Jinja side as they defeated Superbullets 2-0 in the gala that took place at Mbale Municipal stadium.

''We have been whitewashing many academies with very high scores in the past but as our Under 12's performance was below par, and that these under 17s have come of age and soon will be called up to join league clubs, I feel we need to recruit more new players and give them free scholarships," said Tamale .

The Mbale tournament attracted over 10 academies with Alaska being the only team outside the district.
