They face IUEA who only made their debut in the competition last week

Pepsi University Football League: IUEA v MUBS (Wednesday, 3 pm)

MUBS coach Charles Ayiekoh has warned his side not underestimate debutantes International University of East Africa (IUEA) as they two sides faceoff in Group D of the Pepsi University Football League on Wednesday away in Kansanga.

"I watched the game between IUEA and KU and I can say that IUEA is a very good team. They dictated the game against KU and I think KU was lucky to get a draw. If IUEA continues like that, they will be difficult to beat and are a genuine contender to finish in the top two of the group," Ayiekoh said

Ayiekoh also believes that his side needs a quick response, having failed to score when they played to a goalless draw with Uganda Christian University last week in their opening game of the group stages.

"This is the problem that is haunting us. We are defending well but up front, we are not sharp. We are not hunting for goals well and are not scoring. This is what I have been working on and I expect great improvement over the next two games," he added.

IUEA who made their debt in the competition, last week held Kampala University who are also two-time champions, to a goalless draw away at Villa Park and their coach Dorian Ntambi is looking forward to an even better result against MUBS.

"Last week was our very first game in the league and I think we played well. We wanted a win but a draw was not a bad result. We are going to build on that performance and I expect we shall do even better against MUBS," Ntambi said.
