Formerly missing pupil recovered

A case of disappearance that was opened at Kitintale Police Post is now closed, according to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango.

A pupil of Bishop Cyprian Kihangare Primary School, Luzira who had disappeared has been recovered.
 
Kenneth Kidega, aged 13 years was recovered from Gulu and he has been reunited with his parents.
A case of disappearance that was opened at Kitintale Police Post is now closed, according to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango.

Kidega reportedly went missing after his uncle asked him to repeat a class.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango, Kenneth Kidega, 13, was last seen scaling the school's wall fence two weeks before.

It is alleged that Kidega's uncle suggested that he at least repeats P5 class due to his poor performance, which he refused.

Onyango said Kidega had last been seen dressed in a school uniform (pair of grey shorts and checkered shirt).
