Mutebi hails Real Star awards organisers

KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi has hailed the organisers of the  Real stars sports monthly awards.

Mutebi received the best coach for December award at Khalifa Suites, Bugolobi on Monday .

"When we start getting such accolades, it helps us to even work harder. This accolade will not go away, but the money will. I want to thank the organisers of this and please continue encouraging us,"noted Mutebi.

Mutebi won the accolade for second time after beating stiff competition from Sam Ssimbwa of URA and Mbarara City's Livingstone Mbabazi.

His player Allan Okello was voted the best player over SC Villa's Bashir Mutanda who had five goals and one assist and Mike Kawooya of Tooro United who saw his side concede two goals from the six games. Okello managed five goals and also created three goals in December.

US based power lifter Roy Mubiru, his American counterpart Terry Harcleroad , Victory Education Foundation director, Robert Kasibanite , Uganda Cranes legend, Jackson Mayanja were some the guests at the awards.

Michael Wokorach who was influential in Heathens unbeaten run in the league throughout December scoring 20 points was voted the best rugby player.
