Kefa Kisala has dismissed rumours that he was sacked by Express FC following their 2-0 defeat to Police on Monday in the StarTimes Uganda Premier league at Wankulukuku stadium.

"Who told you that? I do not have any information concerning that. I have not resigned or received any communication that I have been sacked," Kisala said.

Club chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka has also backed the former Red Eagles player saying the club was not seeking a replacement.

"This is not true. When we make a decision, we officially communicate it. Kefa Kisala is still the head coach of Express FC," Kiwanuka posted on his social media platform.

The defeat left so many Express fans frustrated and they asked the club to sack Kisala. This forced the club Kiwanuka to have a meeting with fans immediately after the game.

Express who are currently tenth in the league with 21 points from 17 points, have only picked five victories, 6 draws and loses respectively.
