In the amateur ranks, Paul Ndyaguma could be on his way to winning one of the tickets to Thailand after he returned 37 stable ford points, to take over leadership of the Tusker Malt Lager Golf Series, after the fifth leg played at Palm Valley Golf and Country Club on Saturday.

Despite not winning the overall accolade, Ndyaguma has displayed consistence over the four legs thus far to set himself on course of winning the ultimate prize of a fully paid trip to Pattaya, Thailand. Two teams and two individuals will make the trip..

Other golfers who continued to amass crucial points that could count to winning one of the two tickets for individual performances, included George Kituku who returned 37 points, George Kansiime who made 26 points, Godlive Nayebare (29pts) and Lilian Koowe, whose 34 point also won her an overall lady winners prize (a weekend for two at Bulago Island) from co-sponsors MTN.
