Ugandan referees receive FIFA badges

FUFA boss Eng. Moses Magogo who witnessed the handover of the badges, urged the referees to defend the badge.
FUFA football development director Ali Mwebe says they are undertaking measures to uplift the standard of refereeing in Uganda.
Mwebe was speaking at a function in Kampala where 22 Ugandan referees received their badges.
"The FUFA refereeing department is working to protect the three key pillars; integrity, fitness and performance. Development of referees now falls under the football development department. There is a development path way for the rise of referees' standards. We shall maintain the courses, medical and fitness tests which are mandatory as well as starting French lessons for the international referees," stated Mwebe.
