Vipers interim coach Michael Ouma had a disappointing start to his managerial career in Uganda as his side settled for goalless with Bright Stars away at Champion stadium on Saturday in Mwererwe.

The goalless draw meant that the Venoms have now gone two games without a win.

Last week, they registered a goalless draw against Tooro United at St Mary's stadium, Kitende.

Ouma took over from Mexican Javier Martinez Espinosa who was sacked a week ago due to Vipers unimpressive performances.  Despite dropping two points, but Vipers remained second in the league, seven points behind KCCA who were not in action. But the Venoms have two games in hand.

Elsewhere ,Jean Pierre Kambale scored the only goal as SC Villa went down 1-0 to visitors BUL FC at Mandela National stadium, Namboole. In Jinja, Kirinya settled for a 1-1 draw with URA .
