KCCA Football Club coach Mike Mutebi said his side did not live up to expectations despite taking a three-point lead in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Saturday.

Midfielder Jackson Nunda's strike in the 31th minute saw KCCA register their sixth win.
 
"We were not in charge. Maroons gave us a big challenge," Mutebi said.
 
"Maroons is not an easy team since they know how to use the ball and such teams cause a lot of pressure to the opponents.
 
"But the result was more important although the performance was average."

He noted that his side needs to improve on their scoring to maintain a winning run.
 
The victory saw KCCA extend their lead to 21 points, three more than second-placed Bright Stars who beat Paidha Black Angels 3-0.
