Request for Grant Applications

Dear Applicants, Tetra Tech ARD, the USAID implementing partner of the Uganda Sanitation for Health (S4H) Activity, pursuant to the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended, and in accordance with USAID Contract No. 72061718C00003, is authorized to provide grants under contract (GUC) to meet its program objectives.

S4H is seeking full applications from registered local Community Based Organizations (CBOs) to improve sanitation in 52 schools (4 per district) as well as trigger communities / households using the Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) methodology 2.0 in 13 S4H target districts in 2 geographic clusters (Central East- Buyende, Kayunga, Jinja, Buikwe, Namutumba, Kaliro, and Luuka. Central West- Gomba, Mpigi, Kyotera, Lwengo, Bukomansimbi, and Sembabule) for a period of 12 months. Proposed grant activities should not exceed US$ 50,000 per district for a period of 12 months. Grantees should only submit one unique proposal. However, a prospective grantee can apply for grants in up to three districts per cluster.
