Golf moves to offices as Tusker series rages on

In a bid to popularise and demystify the sport, the sponsors of the Tusker Malt Lager Golf Series have introduced a ‘bringing golf home challenge' which is played in the compounds of different corporate companies.

On Friday, there was excitement as MTN staff at Nyonyi Gardens took to the ‘green' and played the game and contested in different golf challenges for the first time, with the best getting rewarded after.

Nelson Musinguzi who managed ten putting strokes over four holes won the fun golf challenge. Other outstanding players included Oscar Lubanga, Dan Zeni, Bernard Obua, Edward Kiwalabye and Boaz Musemeza over the four holes.

For winning, Musinguzi won himself an all-expenses-paid trip to watch the Mbarara leg of the Tusker series this Saturday, while other outstanding players got MTN goodies from MTN's Charlotte Tushabe.

The ladies were also very active with Sandra Namazzi topping the putting challenge ahead of Joanita Katushabe, Christine Namuddu, Evah Asasira and Hanifah Kamya.

Promo Golf's John Mwalimu, the organiser said the challenge will be moved around different companies during the duration of the Tusker Series with outstanding players winning themselves different goodies.

Tusker Head of Premium beers Cathy Twesigye and Head of Beers Estella Muzito graced the challenge and mingled with the staff after as they cooled off the evening with Tusker after.
