The business tour will last for five days
The Chinese Ambassador to Uganda, Zheng Zhuqiang has challenged Pakasa winners who are off to China for a week-long business tour, to use the opportunity to gain more business knowledge to better their businesses.
While flagging off the winners at New Vision offices on Sunday, Zhuqiang said that the winners will visit a number of industrial facilities suitable for Uganda and interact with Chinese entrepreneurs.
"You're going to China not to just tour, go and interact with entrepreneurs and share knowledge. Our office in China will make a very busy program to arrange more interactions between Ugandan and Chinese young entrepreneurs," Zhuqiang said.
The winners are Victor Kalenzi, Fred Nsubuga Bakka, Stephen Ssembuya and Nabila Mbogo and Maxima Nsimenta who couldn't travel and has been represented by Brenda Nasaka.
Commenting on the partnership between the New Vision and the Chinese Embassy, Zhuqiang
"Our cooperation with the New Vision is very successful and we will continue with this cooperation for the next year. We will find new products to support and continue with Pakasa,"
Although the business tour will last for five days, Zhuqiang said it will open future business opportunities that will make them travel to China for a longer period.
