Kimera's display saw KCCA fail to defeat Mbarara City for the third consecutive time. Mbarara City who created some scoring opportunities especially in the first half had themselves to blame after failing to score in the opening minutes of the game.

Karim Ndugwa, Ibrahim Orit and former KCCA FC player Paul Mucureezi wasted Mbarara City's chances that would have seen them pick their third win this season.

Defender Hassan Jurua who also features for KCCA FC junior side (KCCA FC soccer Academy) in the Junior league was sent off by the centre referee Joseph Ochom after two bookable offences.  Jurua was also making his debut for the KCCA senior team.

The result saw KCCA remain second with 11 points, two below leaders Vipers. The two sides face each other this Saturday at St Mary's stadium, Kitende in the top of the table clash.

Elsewhere, Eric Kambale and Ibrahim Kayiwa each had a goal as Express defeated Tooro United 2-0 at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
