New UPPA president sworn in

The Speaker of Parliament pledged her full support to the association



The new Uganda Parliament Press Association (UPPA) President, Moses Mulondo took oath of office on  Friday at Parliament.

The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga pledged her full support to the association during the handover ceremony that took place at the Members Lounge in Parliament.

The Parliamentary Commission member designate Francis Mwijukye was among those who  attended the ceremony.

Mulondo said, members should put behind electioneering and promised to work hard to elevate UPPA to another level.

He also said efforts are underway to empower UPPA in terms of research.  Among others who were sworn in was  the new executive.
