National Motocross team captain Maxime Van Pee has admitted that he was not fit for the sixth round of the national motocross championship in Busiika last month.

Maxime disclosed this in an interview at Legends Rugby Club where he was watching the Rugby Uganda Cup quarterfinal games.

"To be honest, I was not fit for that event. My speed continued reducing after the first two heats, but I have trained and I think I will put up a good show on Sunday in the seventh round of national championship," Maxime said.

Maxime competing in the MX1 open class will face-off with Asaf Natan, Aviv Orland and ten time champion Arthur Blick Jr. who is chasing an  eleventh title.

Meanwhile twenty-five crews have so far registered for the FMU championship Sprint that will run alongside the motocross at the same venue.
