Express registered their first victory in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League with a 3-1 win over Police at StarTimes stadium,Lugogo Tuesday.

Striker Tony Odur who gave Police a lot of hard time, scored the first goal for Express in the ninth minute with a powerful shot from Captain Julius Ntambi's cross. Odur turned provider with an assist in the 34 minute that saw midfielder Ibrahim Kayiwa double the lead.

An own goal by Express defender Arthur Kiggundu in the 51st minute gave Police hope before Michael Birungi scored Express's third goal in the 85th minute.

Police who suffered their third consecutive defeat in the league dropped to the bottom of the table standings.

Elsewhere, Joel Madondo scored a brace as Kirinya Jinja SS came from goal down to defeat Tooro United 2-1 at Kavumba Recreation ground.

Madondo took his tally to four goals this season.  In Jinja, BUL defeated Paidha Black Angels 3-0 at FUFA Technical Centre,Njeru.
