The need to be in the playoffs has clubs scrambling like never before to qualify, but that means a team's experience plays a big role.

Ndejje Sharks started the weekend in third place, one place ahead of Nemostars but their loss against Sport-S on Saturday put more pressure on their ambitions.

They beat sky on Sunday in order to keep their dream alive for the foreseeable future. They are well in but since they still have matches against Nemostars, UCU, VVC, Airforce and Mattrixx.

"As a team, we are in good shape if we can beat these teams. We shall be in the playoffs. We have beaten Nemostars this season and we can do it a second time," Ndejje Captain Ronald Gumisiriza explained.

Ndejje have only been to the playoffs once before so this is a huge opportunity. That thirst alone is the reason why the team coach Johnson Kawenyera is actively interested in helping his team makes it to the playoff.

"We are going to give it our all to ensure that we make it to the playoffs because it will be a new experience for our team," he added.

In the ladies half, last season's national champions and league finalist VVC may not qualify for the playoffs after UCU Lady Doves gave them a 3-0 beating on Sunday Morning.
