The match will be another test for Sebastien Desabre who is still seeking to register only his second victory

Uganda Cranes striker Edrisa Lubega says they will adopt an attacking approach against Lesotho as they desperately search for a win.

The two sides faceoff on Saturday at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole in the 2019 AFCON qualifier.

"When we come out for training, we always give more than 100%. It is this same spirit that we want to display in the matches. We shall go for all attack strategy against Lesotho and personally I am ready to utilise the chances once granted the opportunity," noted Lubega.

He was among the foreign-based players that joined the rest of the squad, majority consisting of locally-based players who are in a residential camp at Kabira Country Club.

Cranes continued their preparations for the weekend tie with morning gym work at Kabira on Tuesday and an afternoon training session at Namboole.

Uganda confronts Lesotho in a must-win encounter if they are to retain any hopes of qualifying for AFCON that will be held in Cameroon. Three days later, the two sides renew rivalries in the return leg in Maseru

Uganda currently tops Group L with four points, ahead of Tanzania and Lesotho, both on two points and Cape Verde who are bottom with one point.

The match will be another test for Sebastien Desabre who is still seeking to register only his second victory as the national team coach. His only win in 10 matches came in a 3-1 win over São Tomé and Príncipe in a friendly.
