Striker Sadat Anaku was instrumental as KCCA FC Soccer Academy thrashed Police 8-0 in one of the opening games of the FUFA U-19 Junior League at StarTimes stadium,Lugogo.

Sadat who was recently summoned to the U23 squad ahead of AFCON qualifiers scored four times for KCCA.

Ibrahim Juma, Jimmy Muber, Nicholas Luzige and Innocent Biyika scored the other goals for KCCA who currently top the Treble group with four points.

The FUFA Junior league is intended to cater for players less than 19 years and this is a requirement for all the 16 Uganda Premier League sides.

The players in this league have a chance of playing for the junior and senior sides of particular team. In case a team wins with more than a two goal margin, it's awarded four points instead of three.

In the Hattrick Group, Lawrence Tezikya and Edwin Opaala each had a goal as Kirinya Jinja beat Bright Stars 2-1 away in Mityana. Davis Ssekajja had consolation for Bright Stars.
