Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Jamal Salim Magoola has dismissed media reports that he is in talks to join Ethiopian side Ethiopian Coffee Sport Club.

"In the past few days, these rumours have been spreading around. What I do most is respecting my contract with my club. I will let you know about my next move here on my official page," Magoola posted on his social media platform.

Early this year, Magoola renewed his contract with Sudanese giants El Merriekh Football Club. He signed a one year deal after the expiry of the three year contract he signed three years ago from KCCA FC.

With Mugoola not ready to join Ethiopian Coffee Sport Club, reports indicate that the club has now gone for former Vipers goalkeeper Ismail Watenga and the two parties are said to have agreed terms.

If Watenga completes the move, he will join Yasser Mugerwa, Diego Hamis Kiiza (both at Fesil Kenema) and Robert Odongkara (St George) already in the Ethiopian topflight league.
