FUFA urges coaches on discipline

Training, conditioning and tactics, match analysis, youth development coaching and laws of the game are some of the components of the course.

Kabale Central Division chairman Simon Arineitwe has cautioned participants at the ongoing FUFA Level One coaching course to be disciplined if they are to succeed.

"I thank FUFA for extending coaching courses to the Western region. It is a symbol of developing football here. I urge the participants to promote discipline and endeavour to continue studying to attain the highest ranks in coaching,” Arineitwe told the 23 participants.

The week long course that started Saturday is supported by a US based organisation Soccer2Unite and HAM Sports Marketing Agency, but the participants paid registration fees.

Peter Makanga, a certified CAF A Licenced coach and also the technical director at Edgars Youth Program is one of the instructors of the course. Makanga is also former SC Villa, Bunamwaya/Vipers SC and Uganda Cranes player.
